The Wauwatosa Woman’s Club is made up of talented, engaged women who generously share their time and skills. Whether you’d like to help occasionally or take on a larger role, there are many ways to get involved!

Events & Fundraising

Event Planning (Ways & Means)

Help plan and organize one of our signature fundraising events, including the Holiday Home Tour, Wine Tasting, Soup Fest, Fashion Show, Wauwatosa Garden Tour, and more. Opportunities range from planning and organizing to day-of event support — there’s something for everyone!

Fundraising & Grants

Assist with securing sponsors, donations, and grants to support club programs and events. Help build relationships with local businesses and identify funding opportunities.

Community & Member Engagement

Membership & Mentoring

Welcome new members and help them feel connected. Assist with new member events, communications, and serve as a friendly face at programs.

Community Service

Support outreach efforts and help identify and coordinate projects that benefit our local community.

Programs & Social Activities

Help plan engaging daytime and evening programs, including securing speakers. Help club coordinators organize activities like book club, game day/night, Woman’s Wednesday, and/or Community Outings.

Hospitality

Assist with food preparation, setup, and cleanup for monthly programs and teas. Or sign-up to occasionally bring a snack or baked good to one of our day or evening events. This is a simple and flexible way to contribute!

Gardening & Flowers

Help plant and maintain the beautiful gardens around our Clubhouse.

Clubhouse Upkeep

Assist with general maintenance and care of our historic Clubhouse.

Rentals

Support Clubhouse rentals by helping with setup, serving as a host/guardian, and/or identifying new rental opportunities.

Communications & History

Communications & Social Media

Assist with eBlast newsletters, website updates, social media, photography, and marketing efforts.

History, Landmark & Museum (HLM)

Help preserve and share the history of our Clubhouse, maintain museum collections, and assist with special historical programs and events.

Additional Opportunities

Scholarship Committee (appointed by the President)

Support scholarship-related initiatives and selection processes.

Special Call for Volunteers

We’re looking for extra helping hands for our signature fundraising events, these are a great way to meet other members, share your talents, and make a meaningful impact (no experience needed!). Whether you’d like to help plan, volunteer on the day of, or contribute in a smaller way, there’s something for everyone.

  • Wine Tasting (November) — Be apart of the planning team or volunteer to help with event setup, contribute items for the cheese, charcuterie, snack or dessert tables, or donate to the silent auction)
  • Holiday Home Tour (December) — Join the planning committee, serve as a docent during the tour, or contribute baked goods for the bake sale
  • Fashion Show (April) — Assist with event planning, help with setup, model in the show, or contribute items for the silent auction or raffle baskets
  • Wauwatosa Garden Tour (Summer 2027) — We’re bringing this event back and forming a planning committee now, this is a great opportunity to get involved from the start!
